Kunena 6.3.0 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.3.0 [K 6.3.0] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.4.x/5.0.x/5.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.3

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

yes, perhaps I am not familiar enough with the process.

But regarding the menu issue, the menu tabs on the 2.0 keep disappearing.

please see: zero-g-solutions.com/dev_copy/index.php/...g-network/spark-cafe

I have uninstalled and reinstalled menu twice - tabs will show up for a while and then if I go back to the page later, they are not there!

don't know what to do about this.

Pam

oh-- wait -- they are displaying on IE9, but not Chrome or Firefox-- if that helps at all.

thanks,
Pam

As a general guide to menu issues, see the article in the Wiki called Kunena menu issues. There are links posted in this topic that will give you the actual page reference.

If you are having problems because of a particular web browser, the problems are probably caused by your Joomla site template. Without seeing your configuration report, I'm just guessing.

Hello,

I checked all technical requirements, including PHP settings, before starting,
I'm installing on a dummy (duplicate of my actual) site,
I'm trying to follow the instructions meticulously, (but obviously something's gone wrong...!)

I've installed Kunena 2.0.4 onto my (duplicated) existing Joomla 2.5.9 site www.scienceofconsciousness.com

I've followed the instructions re: reCAPTCHA and API key and renamed HTACCESS.txt to .HTACCESS

... but the forum isn't appearing anywhere on my front end. Don't I have to create a menu item within my site to point at Kunena? (or something...?)

Thank you for any help...

G'day, Martin-123, and welcome to Kunena

I suggest that, in the first instance, you read Kunena Menu issues which generally solves nearly all of these these I-installed-Kunena-OK-but-it-doesn't-appear-on-the-frontend problems. ;)

I have set up a forum on my page www.tidensspil.dk , but even though I've made a menu item pointing to the forum, no matter what I do - It will just make the menu link point to the front page...

The link in the menu settings are: www.tidensspil.dk/index.php?option=com_k...iew=category&catid=4

Password can be given to any who are willing to help me with this issue.... :-/
