Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

I am receiving errors while trying to delete menu (tabs were not showing)

"Forum" menu item will not unpublish as it is default home page.

Please advise,
Pam

Don't make forum as default menu item -- it may cause some issues for you. Just change default home (star or flag) to some other menu item.

Ultimately I am trying to get my tabs to show which is why I am following instructions to rebuild menu.

Is this the best way? Pam

here are the errors:
JTableMenuType: :delete failed - Some menu items or some menu modules related to this menutype are checked out by another user or the default menu item is in this menu

and can't delete because must have home page

You need to check in all the menu items from Joomla. As I don't know which Joomla version you're using, I cannot help more (the location has changed a few times).

thanks,

all items are checked in (I have Joomla 2.5.11) and Kunena 2.0.4)
same result.

Let's see if I have the process correct:

Select Menu: "Kunena menu" and delete
then go to Menu items and select all and trash items.
Empty Trash.
