Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

G'day, Martin-123, and welcome to Kunena

I suggest that, in the first instance, you read Kunena Menu issues which generally solves nearly all of these these I-installed-Kunena-OK-but-it-doesn't-appear-on-the-frontend problems. ;)

I have set up a forum on my page www.tidensspil.dk , but even though I've made a menu item pointing to the forum, no matter what I do - It will just make the menu link point to the front page...

The link in the menu settings are: www.tidensspil.dk/index.php?option=com_k...iew=category&catid=4

Password can be given to any who are willing to help me with this issue.... :-/

Hi everyone,

My Kunena forum (at luminosityconsulting.co.za/ ) has suddenly started working very erratically.

In particular, the "Forum" menu item in the Main Menu straight-out fails (i.e. "this web page is not available", as though I'd lost the internet connection) when it's set to be a menu item alias. It works when it's a copy of the Kunena "Forum" menu item.

The Kunena menu along the top of the Forum works fine, but links within the forum itself, e.g. to topics and replies, always fail in the manner described above.

This has happened very suddenly, and it mystifies me.

Any suggestions would be enormously appreciated!

My configuration report is attached.

[strike]You should upgrade your Kunena to version 3.0.1 (especially as you posted in the Kunena 3.0 support forum ;)).[/strike]

In the Kunena admin, go to Forum Tools and use the Menu Manager to restore the Kunena menu to its default settings. Most likely this is a menu issue, which would require a good understanding of how Joomla menus work.
