This is a real problem! I had to go through the menu re-creation procedure again, myself, only a couple of hours ago.
See Links don't work for another user's experience.
I found that I had to go through the menu creation procedure twice! That is, trash and delete Kunena menus, create menu, then trash and delete them again and create menu again. Takes a few minutes and it's a pain in the neck ... perseverance and patience. Will eventually be fixed.
Thanks for reporting the issue.

Legacy mode?! Why are you running legacy mode? Does legacy mode interfere with the Mootools Upgrade plugin?

I'm in legacy mode, yes, because i need the legacy mode for a component.
Do you think legacy mode can interfere with something ?
What is the Mootools upgrade plugin ?

The Mootools Upgrade plugin is essential for the creation and operation of the Kunena menu. I don't know whether the Legacy plugin interferes with the Mootools Upgrade plugin but, if it does, you will have to disable the Legacy plugin if you want to use K 1.6. If that means that you cannot use that old J! 1.0 "component" on your website, then that's the price you may have to pay. What I'm saying is this: we're trying to help you the best way that we can with all the knowledge and understanding that we have at the moment.
This really shouldn't be an issue for you, after all, if you have decided to use K 1.6 beta on a production website (with old, outdated J! 1.0 "components") that's your choice and we'll respect it. But, as we've said repeatedly, we are not yet able to offer full "support" for a beta version because the software is changing every day.

Any Joomla plugin, even the Legacy mode one, can interfere with things - can interfere with Kunena. Please try to understand, we're trying to sift through user testing issues with Kunena 1.6 beta and this category is not for support. If you want to make things easier on yourself (and on other people) please try to use a standard natively Joomla 1.5.20 basis before you install a K 1.6 test version. We made that point here .PaRaDiSiAk wrote: I'm in legacy mode, yes, because i need the legacy mode for a component.
