Hey Everyone,

I am designing a new website toghether with Kunena 1.6.
I also decided to make my own template, however i got a small problem.

I have lost my top menu above the user info on the top of the Forum.
I have allready gone crazy trying to find where this i comming from.
Is it a setting in the software, or have i deleted a CSS rule, wich makes this menu.

So if anyone of you guys can tell me how i can restore it would be super.

You can check the forum at: www.spuij-design.com
(note: we are still very busy building this website, so its a bit untidy at the moment)

Hello,

go into kunena control panel and use the function create menu.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

The navigation Tabs that should appear above the login/user info section are missing, And the 'collapse - does not work. I ahve tried several Joomla Templates No Avail.

The image in the Template select menu shows that the Template has tabs but they do not show up. I would prefer not to have an extra menu in my site. How can I get the tabs to show ?

Did you check that your menu item (in your regular site-menu) that is linking to the forum, points to "index" and not to "forum"...?

(See my previous posts in this thread...)

Oh... Your navigation tabs ARE there - they have just been turned into a left menu... :silly:

Go into Modules (Extensions -> Module Manager) and place the Kunena Menu in the position: kunena_menu. (Just copy-paste kunena_menu if it isn't on the list of available positions.)

I think that'll do the trick...

I did not notice the tabs when I first installed so altered the menu position and 'menu levels'. Resetting kunena_menu and levels did not work. So unistalled (complete uninstall from the installation) Re installed and FULL SUCCESS.

Now I need to search for Templates. thanks

Well ... uninstalling Kunena just to create a menu is a bit like cracking a peanut with a sledgehammer!

We have tried to tell people, when their Kunena menu disappears, that the process is really quite easy. Here is one place where I've tried to explain the process: Links don't work
