westclif: It matters not if you are using J! 1.5 or J! 1.6; the problem is the same problem.

(1) You have not properly implemented Joomla Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

(2) You have not properly setup your Joomla menu so that you correctly access your Kunena forum. Unfortunately, though, the resolution of this issue is a little different in J! 1.6 than it is in J 1.5. The cause is, however, still the same.

This topic should help.

crystalm28: It pays to use the search function - use the text of the error message you get ... it helps! ;)

You have multiple menu items to your Kunena forum. Get rid of them; rebuild your menu. This topic will show you how.

Thank you. I had previously created another menu item for my "top menu" and name it also forum. By naming the Kuena menu item "Forums" and my top menu item "Forum" it worked!!

Thank you :cheer:

hi

The page isn't redirecting properly
Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

im trying to rename the .htaccess file but it gives me an error message

I deleted the .txt after htaccess but there was no change at browser level.
I saw that the "." wasnt there infront of the .htaccess
tried to rename but getting...
FileOp Failure on: /home/y3botes/public_html/htaccess: Destination already exists
