Yes, in my last test I executed only the second query but I realized that if the user are already sinconyzed this query change the association user link to user profile in incorrect mode, now I'll try again without executes the queries. I noted (but it was only a fast check) that also the number of post associated to every user seem correct, is it possible?

I found only another problem. In some of the post I'm importing there are some japanese message (written with kanji) and into Kunena I see only some "????" instead of kanji. I checked the tables charset and I found that kunena table have sweedish charset instead of unicode. I searched into the forum and I found some other people have the same problem but I didn't understand very well what is the way to fix it, I must to chaneg manually the charset associated to any table field manually or there is some other way to fix it?

Well... I'm not versed into that japeneses charset.
This would then be related to some other Kunena post that you'd have to create.

Unfortunately this last problem of japanese characters not imported well continue to be a seirous problem for me. I cheched the kunena/fireboard db tables, all the table have a charset set to sweedish, I changed manually all the attributes to unicode before import the data but after the import only some fields (like category name) has been imported correctly, all the other japanese words was showed as ????? into Kunena. Do you suggest to open a new discussion more specific to this problem?

Yes you should try new discussion. Actually your migration succeeded, now you have one charset issue remaining.

I have another small question about the porting. What about the users's password? The script copy the phpbb3 users to Joomla users but I suppose copy only the username, the password is also copied? (the user will can login into Joomal with the same password of phpbb3?)
