Replied by Lord Zedd on topic Re: Problem Solved!

craig wrote: I finally figured this out. As I mentioned in my last entry, the problem did indeed stem from my changing the menu type for my forums menu item. I changed it from being a menulink alias, which is what it was originally, to a kunena menu entry page, with "Index" as the default menu item. After I did that the problem described in this thread started.

I switched it back to be a menulink alias and now all is well. :) :) :)

Thank you! This worked for me too! I just deactivated my entire Kunena menu and than my forum worked again! :)

**** SOLVED ****

Menu conflict, another menu named forum was causing a n infinite loop it seems, Deleted the other menu....YAY all fixed.

Hi,

I've installed Kunea 1.6.3 on Joomla 1.5.20 but cannot get the welcome mat or Sugesstion Box forums to open. Tried creating a new forum...same thing.

All I get is the green progress bar but there is no progress. (IE8) I then tried to open the forum using Firfox and got the following error.

************************************
The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.

***********************************

Cookies are enabled.

I then tried Google Chrome... error reads

Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects

Anyoneone got any ideas?

Thanks

Jeff
