Hi,
Thank you all. I have upgraded to Kunena 1.5.12 and all went well. However, I have the exact same issues I had before. Nothing has changed. The moderator still isn't receiving e-mails about new posts and when a new post is being posted, the user still gets the same error (screen shot attached).
Please help! What am I doing wrong?

I've changed the subject. I hope that the changed subject is closer to describing the issues that you are trying to get help with.
I suggest that you look at K 1.5.x Support: Please read this first. That topic gives you a lot of useful information to help in properly setting up your forum categories.
Particularly, you should read the tutorial: Sections, Categories, sub-Categories (Part 1)
If you are having problems with your server sending email, you might find some help about how to configure your Joomla site by searching the Joomla forum . It's an excellent place to help you with email problems.
You might also find this discussion helpful, too: Mail not working 1.5.7 (it's a very long topic and it also covers issues from K 1.5.7 through to K 1.5.11!)
How to use the review posts features is described, to some extent, in Moderated forum with notification to moderator/confirmation
I hope some of this helps.

Thank you, sozzled. I went through all the documentation you suggested and checked everything through and through. I am having the same exact problem as mibnbikes had in the
"Mail Not Working"
thread -- all other joomla e-mails are working fine except for Kunena.
The only thing I cannot do as per your suggestion is change the board forum e-mail to the original because the original e-mail belongs to the person who is no longer with this project.
Since I have Kunena set up to use Community Builder, I am wondering if there is a special setting in the Community Builder that I am not aware of? maybe there is smth there I need to change?
Would synchronizing users have anything to do with this? Thanks again for your help.

I well remember mibnbikes' problem and the several hours that Matias and I spent thoroughly testing the email situation. As I recall from my several discussions with Matias on this issue, sometimes these "mail" issues have their roots elsewhere. In other words, the mail problem is not specifically a Kunena one, nor a Joomla one, but is a PHP configuration problem.
In my own case I am not able to change my PHP configuration settings on my hosted websites. I have to be content with whatever my webhosting provider has set for me and for all other users of the service. So far I have not had any issues. The same cannot, however, be said for all webhosting providers and, I think, mibnbikes may have even had to change to a different webhost in order to overcome his problem.
I'll direct this issue to the attention of the development team in the hope that someone may have a better suggestion to solve your problem.
