Hmmm... I am not having trouble with all forms on my site sending messages. And it happened after I installed Kunena. All my forms now give me an error of "Cannout authenticate mail function".

Here is one of the errors in logs for Kunena:

PHP Warning: include(/home7/obomneni/public_html/joomla/administrator/components/com_kunena/language/kunena.english.php) [<a href='function.include'>function.include</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home7/obomneni/public_html/joomla/administrator/components/com_kunena/install/kunena.uninstall.php

Anyone knows what this means? Please help!

Kunena has nothing to do on how Joomla sends emails. It just uses the same functions when someone is subscribed to topic and someone posts new message. So installing Kunena has no effect on how Joomla sends its emails.

It looks like you have authentication issue when sending email. Maybe your SMTP password is wrong?

That warning is not important -- should not be any issue.

Thanks, Matias, for your reply. Joomla is now sending fine, must have been some sort of fluke. Who knows.

But Kunena is still not sending... I am not using SMTP, but PHP why would the password be important?

Or am I missing something here?
