Ok - I am looking at our error log: What file am I missing to produce these errors? Or how can I fix it so we don't get these errors on our server logs?

File does not exist: /home/site/public_html/404.shtml, referer: www.everythingmom.com/component/option,c...,14/func,view/id,47/

Good that the problem has been fixed, at least partially.

Virtual server with 1GB+ RAM should be a lot faster than this. I believe that there's something wrong in your configuration, either in Joomla or with MySQL/Apache. Do you have SSH access to your server?

Those pages are for missing files and you should be able to fix them by changing Apache configuration (apache error pages do not exist).

I am not sure what SSH access is? What should the Apache configuration look like? Should I submit a ticket to Rochen and get the to change something, or is it something on the Cpanel, or Joomla Admin?

Thanks for helping me sort through this... :)

It's a Secure SHell to the server.

It's really hard to say what is wrong without seeing inside the server. SSH connection is good just in that; if you know how to use it. I wouldn't do anything without knowing what I'm doing -- you can make things much worse.

If you get login information for ssh, I can try to look what's going on. If you want to do that, just PM me.

We still have not got this sorted yet and are about to do a big media push. We would be willing to pay someone to get the forum up to speed for us ASAP. I have not yet heard back from Matias. (Cannot get SSH, but CPanel access is given)

Is there anyone who could help us out with this please? Our developers have looked into it and they are not sure why it is slow either. They said we needed the developers of the forum to have a look for us.

Would really appreciate it, Thanks!
