I am having the same issue - no attach file window opens, global Joomla settings do not repress attachments. This is important for my forums as I am using them for support (much like this one) I've tried both a custom 1.6 template and the default - doesn't change anything.

justmebg: which of these issues are you having difficulty with that seems to be the one that you are using this topic for:

1. No Attachment Browser
2. No Local Photo upload
3. Insert Video URL not working

In what way(s) are you having a problem?

To clarify your question further, are you not getting the "file open" dialog appearing when you click the Browse button when you try to upload an attachment or a photo (image)?

The insert video issue is unrelated to these other things, I think.

Further, I recommend that you read how to properly setup Joomla SEO .

I would also recommend that you disable "integration activity" unless you have a specific need for this feature.

Ive just installed kenuna 1.6.3 forum on our 1.5 joomla website, its great BUT a few issues
.
Firstly the "mootools upgrade plugin" stopped the "a menu item working that used javascript" this particular component had to be un installed which was a shame as it was a major part of our site , but before I uninstalled I disabled the mootools upgrade plugin and it worked again

So I had to choose between having the new forums with the upgrade plugin for mootools or loosing the component our site used

We have no editor on our forums, we have smilies but they only work by placing the code in the post
