Oh also looking at that it seems like it didn't finish filling the User table because of duplicate entries.
Lets run it all again. But this time before running, can you go to phpmyadmin and empty the jos_users table then run it again?
Cheers
Dan

Dan,
I got everything over OK (Or so it seems!) but I still get the error (Though it looks like it got all the users). I am having some people test it out and let me know if they have any issues.
Is there any way to retain formatting of the old posts? There is no way we can do it manually, there are way too many, and many of our posts are fairly long and hard to read as a single paragraph with additional chars instead of paragraph breaks
THanks!

Thats a bit tough, jut because of the different ways kunena and SMF handle things, but leave it with me for few days i should be able to change the way entities go into the database

Thanks David!
I will report back what the users found when they were testing as well.

David,
Fort he most part it seems that things worked out well, but we have noticed that tens of thousands of messages never got imported into the database, so we are missing a ton of content.

Other than that, and the formatting, everything else seems pretty good thus far, I still have people testing it out though, so I will keep you posted.

It's Dan..not Dave
That is truly odd that those messages are missing, when we ran it the other day all of those poss were inserted.
I am in the process of moving my site to VPS and to Kunena in the process so once I do that I will iron out any kinks and get back to you
