This seems to be a general problem with Kunena 7.0.1.
I created a configuration report on my test page with Joomla 6.0.2 and Kunena 7.0.1, one complete configuration report and one anonymous configuration report.
In both configuration reports, Kunena detailed configuration: is empty except for the message “Kunena config settings:”.
Addendum:
After changing the files ‘ToolsModel.php’ and ‘KunenaConfig.php’ according to Commit 45b0b92, Kunena detailed configuration: is displayed.

but if I set it to standard, everything is ok.

i try this Quick workaround (safe, but temporary)it works on my test site
If you can’t update right now, you can silence the warning by allowing dynamic properties in the class.
Option 1 – Add #[\AllowDynamicProperties] (PHP 8.2+)
Edit:
/components/com_kunena/libraries/user/KunenaUser.php
Find:
class KunenaUser
Change to:
⚠️ This will be overwritten by updates — use only as a stopgap.

The message is on e.g. /administrator/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=cpanel and in frontend forum index as well.
I updated Kunena from 6.4.7 to 7.0.1

I noticed that the tooltip for the last message from @HSchuh on the Subject page and on the Last Post page is limited to three lines, which is not the case for the previous posts.

I have a Joomla 6 website with Kunena 6.3.10 and received a message that this version of Kunena wouldn't work under Joomla 6 and that I needed to upgrade to Kunena 7.0.1. I did so, but then received an error message, "Error 1054 Unknown column 'socials' in 'field list'," but the message disappeared after restarting Kunena 7.0.1 and updating some databases.
In Kunena 7.0.1, however, sending emails to article subscribers when a new article is posted is not working anymore. I tried various ways to get this working again, but with no success. Sending emails from the website hosting via SMTP- and PHP-mail works correctly, and before the upgrade to Kunena 7.0.1, sending emails from Kunena 6.3.10 worked fine.
I'm also getting the following error in the Community Builder Online module when I click on an online user: Undefined constant "Kunena\Forum\Libraries\Factory\KPATH_SITE" and the requested page cannot be found.
What should I do to fix this problem(s)?

it seems the upgrade process will do things with socials not work correctly, i will add a fonction under tools to be able to make the import of socials when it has failed during upgrade

We have 7.0.1 / 2026-01-30 and get following log MSG/error
"Exception throw at line 489 in file \/home\/sammler\/public_html\/libraries\/vendor\/joomla\/database\/src\/Pdo\/PdoDriver.php with message 42S22, 1054, Unknown column 'socials' in 'SET'"
We get this MSG on all 5.4.2 Joomla installations.

I have looked in the code so it should be handled in upgrade process when you are coming from before Kunena 6.4.0 . I have forgot the params karma_time so it remains in config, it explains why you get this error

It was disabled due to the issue. I updated the template and published the menu items. Check the current configuration.

There used to be messenger desktop apps, which, to my knowledge, were discontinued in 2025.
Such apps are now only available for social media services.

This request cannot be fulfilled in Kunena. To do so, you would need to install a messenger.To my knowledge "‘Subscribe as default’ function to ‘YES’ in the ‘Set up forum’ tab." is done, but if I place a message/topic in the forum all subscribers receive an email but not myself.

In the profile the line COM_KUNENA_USER_HIDEEMAIL is set to YES. Is this not correct ? It only means that the emailadress is not shown in the message?
