Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

On the forum, when a message is sent, it takes more than ten seconds. If I send a quick reply, it's instant. But if I send a normal reply, it takes a long time.
I tried the basic template. I tried turning off the cache in Joomla.

I've tried everything, turned off the basic template, turned off the plugins, nothing helps. Is it possible that my server doesn't allow PHP sendemail, I have to use SMTP email. Although the emails arrive properly.

sending for a regular message and quick reply is same code: only the entry form is different.

So in short: no idea

You could try enabling Joomla debug, and the debug plugin set to super user account. Then try to login on front-end with super user en try to create a topic.
The debug information in the debug bar might give some idea on what part of the process / which query is taking a longer time.

I've tried everything, compared the logs, and I haven't found anything that could be the problem. I've disabled additional plugins, modules, and templates, but every time I post a new answer or edit it takes about 10 seconds.
When I reply via quick reply, for example, everything is instant.
I don't know where to look anymore, or what to try.

on my last page I had a similar problem and I found out it was (one) of the used Kunena templates,
not only to switch Kunena to some other template but the problem was gone, when I deleted this template.
