Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

hm.. I can't see wrong configuration. Only an incorrect menu item. You use in your main menu the Kunena menu type "Home-Page (Startseite)". Use the Alias Menu type to define this link "Ticketcenter".

Set "CAPTCHA Challenge for Guests = Yes" and save.
Then set "CAPTCHA Challenge for Guests = No" and save again. Maybe it helps.

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Hi rich,

I changed the menu item to the alias type and tried the setting for CAPTCHA Challenge for Guests as you suggested. I am sorry this doesnt have an effect on my reported issue.
Nevertheless i say thank you for your efforts.
Of course it would be great if you could find out a solution for this. May be this is a configuration alternative that has been forgotten by the programmers. Everybody wants to secure the forum with a captcha, but in my case its just the reverse case: I dont need the captcha, because its an intranet where Kunena is used.

Have a nice Weekend.

Hello again,

just to keep you informed: the recaptcha is always shown, if a user has less than two entries in the forum. Up from the third entry the recaptcha is not shown.
In the backend i didnt change anything, it is all set like described in the posts above.

You can try the following:
First make in your database a backup of the table "_kunena_configuration".
Then in the Backend > Forum Configuration > Restore Default Settings.
Afterwards test whether the problem still exists.
