Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Hello,
i have installed Kunena 2.0.3 on an intranet website basend on Joomla 2.5.8.
I do not need the recaptcha function, which is buildt in into Kunena. I would like to completely deactivate this feature, but cannot find any manual how to do this. I have looked this up in this forum and on Google, but no reliable results.

If i do not enter a recaptcha key in the backend of kunena, a forum user gets the message, that the key is not configured properly and he can not create any new entry in the forum.

If i enter a recaptcha key, which i have generated in my Google Account, then a forum user can create a new entry but has to deal with the recaptcha form. After having submitted the first entry, then this user can create more entries without the recaptcha form. Important to note: The threshold value for the recaptcha in the "captcha configuration" section in Kunena backend is set to 0.

Any help with this issue is appreciated.

Welcome Aviator!

The threshold value for the recaptcha in the "captcha configuration" section in Kunena backend is set to 0.

You have also set "CAPTCHA Challenge for Guests = No"?
