Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Thanks for the help, and you were right. I am running a Rockettheme template that was using a "MooMenu". I changed it to Suckerfish, and it solved my problem AND now my site runs much faster! Wow, what a nice added benefit...

G'day, brunetta, and welcome to Kunena. Your question has been asked and answered before, many times, in this topic. Please read msg #1 to learn more and help you find the solution that you're looking for. Your question has also been asked, and answered, many time on the Rockettheme forums, too.

This topic is not just about whether people have Rockettheme or, specifically, whether they may have a "Moomenu". This topic is about why people have problems using functions in Kunena because they have installed other Joomla extensions (i.e. components, plugins, modules and/or templates) that themselves install software that is incompatible with the Joomla environment that is needed by Kunena for Kunena to function properly. The information in msg #1 of this topic explains this and shows you how you can go about the problem.

The biggest problem (but not the only problem) that occurs in cases where Rockettheme templates are involved relates to the setting Build Title Spans = Yes. Even the developers of Rockettheme acknowledge this issue .

Do you have Build Title Spans = Yes? If you do, set Build Title Spans = No.
