Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

For future reference (and anyone else having a similar problem), I finally found out what I had done by turning it to "true". That essentially told Kunena to use the Community Builder thumbnail. And since the CB thumbnail is at a set height/width, there is no way to change that size without changing it in CB, which is not worth it.

So it looks like we've narrowed down the integration with CB (in regards to the guest image) to regular images, whereas the thumbs work fine.

The issue, originally reported, went something like this:
There is a difference if you select
Integration » Avatar Integration » Use avatar picture from = Community Builder
as opposed to
Integration » Avatar Integration » Use avatar picture from = Kunena

In the former case, guest posters have no avatars. In the latter case, guest posters have an avatar. This looks more likely to be a Kunena issue. Surprisingly, over six months after Kunena and Community Builder "came together", this has only now been detected in K 1.5.9!This matter has been resolved with K 1.5.11 which is soon to be made available as a public release.
