@Niels, please see msg #1 in this topic for the answer to your question. This inability to properly edit your profile is unaffected by whether or not you use JomSocial. The whole problem is caused by a Javascript library conflict which, in 99 times out of 100, is brought about because of the Joomla site template that you've chosen and the Javascript library options installed with that template.

@ticoparty, this "WYSIWYG" that you refer to - I'm not sure what you mean because Kunena does not have any WYSIWYG to speak of. Are you talking about the boardcode toolbar, perhaps? If you are referring to the boardcode toolbar that does not show when composing a forum message, and you are using a Rockettheme template, again, the answer is contained in the links in msg #1 of this topic. The answers are also posted at Rockettheme's website . I will give you a hint: it has something to do with "build title spans".

I have the new mootools update plugin installed and published. how do i get the old one from being published?

No matter how many different ways this question is asked, no matter how many different causes people may believe are responsible for the "missing" BBcode toolbar, the cause of the problem is the same: the problem is caused by the standard Joomla Mootools library not being allowed to run properly. The answer to this problem is given in msg #1 in this topic.

Hi, I looked for a thread and through the troubleshooting guide but with no luck.


Just upgraded to Kunena 1.7, and now all of my BBcode / text editing buttons are gone??

I have installed multiple templates with no luck. It must be a kunena configuration issue.

I have been in and out of the configuration many times and everything is set corrently?


Can anyone help me?? I need my BBcode buttons back!

PROBLEM:

• Upgraded to 1.7 BBCODE buttons now disabled
• Topic icon's also disabled

Hi all,

i have installed Kunena1.7 component on my Joomla 1.5.23 website.
I have added too following plugin : "My Kunena Forum Posts" and "My Kunena Forum Menu".

My old Forum was a phpBB3 forum.
So I have used the Kunena Forum Importer extension.

When i test the new Forum, i face an issue with the Profile view which is empty :huh:
The tab (Messages, Thanks, Subscriptions, Favorites) is empty.
In addition, when I want Edit the profile, the tab is empty too (User account, profile information, Avatar image, Forum parameter).

Can you tell my why i have this behavior ?
Does the Kunena installation or the data import is wrong ?
