Replied by ebohatch on topic boardcode stuff missing??
I am using the latest 1.6.4, with Joomla 1.5.23.
On my desktop system when I go to create a new topic, I see the boardcode above the emoticons as you have here.
But on my production site the items do not show.
I checked my desktop configuration with the production and they appear to be identical??

Could someone please suggest what I am missing

Hello,

You have a conflict between your Joomla! template and your Kunena template

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

This fix worked for me, however - the spans on the rest of my site are affected.

I can now edit profiles and such, but the title spans everywhere else are disabled. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

What should I be replacing 'module-title' with? I'm new to Kuena.

Nevermind, I got it.
I just left it the same, mine looks like this:

if ($gantry->get('buildspans-enabled')) {
$modules = "";
$headers = "";

That appears to be working fine for me with no issues.

I also had this problem, Kunena is not to blame. Go through your recently installed modules, plug-ins etc and disable them one by one until the BB Code icons appear.

It was the javascript of a countdown timer I was using that messed it up for me.

KUNENA ROCKS - THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK GUYS :)

They work fine in FF and Chrome, but in IE 9, the edit buttons are simply missing and the emoticon buttons do nothing.

Is this a template issue or a forum issue? i'm using the current version of Kunena and the Aphotic template.

No, this is not a Kunena issue nor is it likely to be an issue with the specific Kunena template that you are trying to use. This is a Javascript issue and it may depend on the version of Joomla that you are using. IE9 requires Mootools 1.2.5 (as a minimum) and there may be other issues involving certain Joomla extensions that you have installed. The answers to this problem are broadly discussed in msg #1 of this topic.

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of Joomla that is appropriate to your particular circumstances. I hope that helps.
