G'day, Matthew and ricardomiura, and welcome to Kunena.

There is a "common" way to address these common issues. Please see msg #1 in this topic.

xpinx2pin: Your problem falls into the same category as everyone else:
your problem is caused by Rockettheme'sRokCandy plugin which clobbers Joomla's Mootools library. Please read msg #1 in this topic or search for RokCandy .

Replied by kristofluyten on topic BBcode again...
:( After reading al posts about the mootools versions etc. I still cannot make the buttons work...

I use the default kunena template, I activated the mootools upgrade plugin but still no buttons.

Is there anybody who can have a look at this please?

1st: www.digitalforum.be/forum : here I use a default joomla template

2nd: www.koken-met-kids.be/forum : here I use a template from Themza

Any idea how to solve this?

Thank you already

Please read msg #1 in this topic.

Many of those really old Themza templates break Joomla. These problems can be solved. You need to remove the old Javascipt libraries from those old Joomla site templates.

That's why the JA_Purity template (the 1st example you gave) works and why the 2nd example you gave does not work.

Solution: use a different template. Alternative solutions: fix the Javascript conflicts yourself, ask the template developer to fix their Javascript library conflicts with Joomla or pay someone else a lot of money to fix the issues for you.
