Question Mail not working 1.5.7

I am facing the exact same problem as in this thread, ALL mails from other components is sending, Jreviews, Acajoom, CK forms, JomSocial, Flexi contact form is working fine, Joomla mail settings are PHP mailer. Only Kunena mailfunction is not working.

I have run the mailtest.php as Etusha suggested and that also works fine.

I get a "Could not instantiate mail function" error when trying to use the Rapport to moderator and subscribe function.

I would be so cool to get this to work.

Any suggestions....

I finally got mine to work...I had to login as registered user and create a post when I did that I noticed the mail was working the only thing that still was not working was jomsocial activity stream ...anyway I guess that triggered the mail...because now when I login with my account and test it the mail is working.

Hmm, did not work for my forum, I did as you wrote above, I logged in as a normal registered user and created a new thread. Then 2 min later I logged in as a S-admin and wrote a post but did not work.

Mine too are on PHP setting. If I set Joomla to SMTP mail function then all of a sudden Kunena mails are sent but then ALL other component mails fail to send, so I have to stick to PHP mailer.

Hi Kunena people, please, I and probably a lot other users need a hack for this one, can anyone step in to rescue us :lol:
