Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Question Is it native or what?

Kunena.com is running K1.5.3 without legacy turned on. As you can see, it works!

It has been reported, that SEF extensions are giving problems with kunena when run out of native mode, not joomla core SEF feature though.

They may be expecting that Kunena works only in legacy mode and are using legacy functions to talk with Kunena. That makes sense..

Is there a way I can check for legacy code in a template? I.e. I have a template that is supposed to be 1.5 native but I cannot get K153 to work without it being in legacy mode. Since you say it must be something else how do I check for that code to fix?

EDIT: I also tried chnaging my Joomla theme to the default JA-Purity but stil have the Direct Access not Allowed

I have now also tried disabling every module and also turning SEF off - I only use the Joomla Sef.

Anyone able to have look for me - PM me and I will provide login to my DEV site for you to have a looksie :)

I have a python script that finds most legacy code. Want to test it? Works great if you have Linux server and ssh access to it.
