For the very start, hello everyone :)

I have a just a small question for community
Is K1.5.3 really Native?

Kunena was the LAST legacy component on my site and i upgraded from 1.0.10 to 1.5.3
It works really smooth but only with Legacy plugin ON - it should work with that plugin OFF or im missing something here?

I got "no direct acess allowed" error when its off

Thanks in advance for your inputs

Yes it's really native, you can upgrade to Kunena 1.5.3 and disable legacy plugin.
Try to disable other modules/plugins on your site, just to be sure, it doesn't affect. Then enable one-by-one and you will see, when it happens.

Actually the sign of nativeness is nothing. There could be lost function from legacy.
And one more place, where could be problem.
Template. I found some templates (native Joomla 1.5 was stated from the author) that used legacy code. So try also revert to default Joomla 1.5 site template...

Nope, default_ex should work. I was talking about Joomla templates, not Kunena templates. Do you have patched default_ex? If not, try to reupload only default_ex folder. What error it gives if you switch to default_ex template from Kunena 1.5.3 package? What plugins do you have installed on your Joomla?
