Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Like I said. Joomlapack bypasses all server timeout issues. I only deploy Joomla sites with it.

i got the same error on joomla 1.5, php 4.4.7, mysql 4.1.22. I tried deleting directories after uninstall 1.0.7b but i got the same error!

Bleah - crashed after I wrote a solution here. For folks wondering, the upload from URL suggestion doesn't work either.

There's a bug which prevents Kunena from working in PHP4:

Figured out what was wrong on my install - the issue is not the Kunena upgrade, but the recent posts module. This is calling the check_dberror on line 99 of class.kunena.php.

Edit removing tons of code garbage

Duhhhhh.... there's an updated latest posts module here:

joomlacode.org/gf/project/mod_klatest/frs/

All works well.
