Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This is through the Joomla installer? Have you tried installing from directory?

I have not. I've tried the regular upload component. And I've tried the URL option. I've not tried the directory.

Is it just a matter of FTPing the zipped file there and pointing to it using the directory option?

Something like that although I suspect you may have some type of permissions problem somewhere. Let me know if you need a link on the procedure.

I did upload the zip file into the /tmp directory. Tried just using that and hoping the installer would find the package and linked directly to the package.

Both times, it failed with some crazy permissions stuff.

However, the regular component installation usually kicks back some type of errors if there is a permissions issue.

I changed the entire components folder to 777 which in the past has solved most installations.
