Hi. Thanks for the update, and the Boilerplate template. Very ilustrative.
However, I think you should include some missing steps (I had to perform additionally) in the README.md file for the 'clean' template:

- Create a new directory for your new template (com_kunena/template/yournewtemplate).
- Copy to that directory the (unzipped) files provided in Boilerplate template.
- Edit files accordingly, as currentluy stated in README.md (mostly, substitute 'clean' by 'yournewtemplate')
- Rename clean.less to yournewname.less in ditrectory assets/less (com_kunena/template/yournewtemplate/assets/less).

Please, consider those suggestions.
Regards.

ok removed the text. it was a copy from a earlier build release.

PHP5.6+ are the only supported php versions, if you have a older version i suggest to update. but it will still be working on older php versions.

You know, whenever I see ' we advice (sic) to update immediately' - I generally expect it to be a security patch.

This doesn't look like anything to write home about - so why mess with it, if it ain't BROKEN?

PS: is this release only for PHP5.6+ ??

1) We are working on new website + demo accounts
Yes, this template should work on other frameworks, its loaded also bootstrap framework. But the design is the same as the old blue eagle template.
2) Boilertemplate is a starters template for template builders, you need some html skills to custom it to your own needs, this is just a quick boiler template, how to use the template structure.

Great job, guys!
Nice to see two new templates. Unfortunately, there is lack of information about both products.
1. Blue Eagle 5 - No demo is available. Is there no Bootstrap framework and this K template is compatible to various Joomla templates as in old good times?
2. Boilerplate - No demo or video. Is it something like template builder?
Thanks.

Hi.

Never do this. Even if everyone tells you there will be no problems !

Always 1st do this in a testing website, clone of you production site.

K4 and K5 are major version, not minor version.

it is important to all of us, personally, but easy to understand your caution.

Other than setting up on a duplicate site, as I did, I would tread very carefully.

You'll get a lot of help on here but only after the event, and sometimes none at all, depends on the issue and how it has been described.

They do the best they can but it is all voluntarily so you sort of get what you pay for (or don't). You wont get a guarantee, none of us will.

The only problem with staying with K4.xxx are security issues, we found out the hard way but am now happy with K5.0.4, but only after testing, testing, testing on a duplicate site.

Always best to start your own topic, you'll get a faster response that way.
