Contrary to what you say, my Community Builder is up to date (2.10.0 +latest build).

The latest CB version is from May, CommunityBuilder_2.10.0+build.2025.05.06  yours is from February CommunityBuilder 2.10.0+build.2025.02.10

However, I now find that when you click on a Category, the subordinate sub-categories and topics do not appear, so the Forum is now totally unusable. I have a Kunena menu of just one main item because I don't see the need for anything more.

As I mentioned earlier, Kunena needs an intact Kunena menu to work properly.

First try to restore your menu items properly as suggested by @Pinkeltje and then if you want to hide certain menu items, there is an option “Show in menu Yes or No” in the menu items.

Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

OK have updated CB. Don't know why it wasn't reporting latest build. I've restored the Kunena menu and the forum looks ok except for the original problem that post text is in the left hand margin. Also, how do I create a link from the main menu to go to a specific sub-category, ie showcase. I can't see how menu item alias can do that without what I was doing before - a Kunena menu item that points just to that.

Please create a configuration report again.

The menu item Alias is a Joomla feature that allows you to link menu items with each other in order to call up the same target from different menus.

Why do you want to do that?
