Solved Ebay widget not working

In my forum, all the Ebay widgets are gone. (does not show)
And, when trying to create new ones I get funny behaviour:
- Cannot create post with only the ebay widget (ref error message)
- When editing a post with an ebay widget and removing all other text, the post is automatically deleted!

Can anyone help on this?

I'm on Kunena 5.0.11 and Joomla 3.8.

Only ebay widgets without other content is not possible. But why also previously existing widgets not work anymore is strange. Unfortunately, I can't test it because I don't have any existing ebay widgets.
The old widgets work when you add a text content?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationNo, no widgets are showing.
Even if I edit the old post with ebay widget, they don't show.

Why can't one post only widget anymore?

I can give admin access to my site if anyone want to see.

Typical post is here:
tamiyabase.com/forum/8-ebay-tips/17686-t...ting?start=940#45549

The post "code" is like this:
Code:
[ebay]263163315740[/ebay] sdfsdf

I added the "sdfsdf" for testing.

Here is a test if the widget works here:

Could it be the Blue Eagle 5 version 1.04 template that is causing this?

Hello,

Do-you have this issue since you have set blue eagle 5 as default ? Aan before which template did-you have used ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

This issue came with the 5.0.11 version of Kunena or with Blue Eagle 5 version 1.04.
I installed them both the same day, if i remember correct.

Widgets worked fine on previous version of Kunena and Blue Eagle 5 ver. 1.03.

Maybe is during the upgrade something broken.
Check in the configuration whether the ebay code still is correctly present. Try also reinstall Kunena. I don't think, that's a problem with Blue Eagle, but you can test it if you switch to Crypsis.

I reinstalled Kunena 5.0.11, cleaned the cache, but nothing changed.
I also tried swapping template to Crypsis, but the widget will not show.

Ebay settings in configuration looks to be ok. Please see attached image.

Is it possible to downgrade to earlier versions of Kunena, just to test?

When I edit a post from for instance this:
Code:
[ebay]182440419025[/ebay] Still not working

To this:
Code:
[ebay]182440419025[/ebay]
(removing everything but the Ebay code)
... and press "Submit"
... the result is that the post is not edited, but is automatically set to "Deleted" !
