@Leen
No, it is not a misunderstanding. If you want to use other languages in the CKEditor, the language files must be available in \media\kunena\core\js\lang. For example, nl.js.
Some time ago I had tested with Dutch language and noticed that it did not work. With the German language (de.js) it worked. That's why I asked you if you could give me these two language scripts so I can test it again.

@rich thank you,
now it's inconvenient when i'm in the directories
"\media\kunena\core\js\lang\" it only says "en.js"
there is no nl.js to be found anywhere
all if I search hard
C:\wamp64\www\15082023\media\kunena\core\js\plugins\a11yhelp\dialogs\lang
C:\wamp64\www\15082023\media\kunena\core\js\plugins\copyformatting\lang
C:\wamp64\www\15082023\media\vendor\tinymce\langs
And I had installed this test site without Dutch language
and even then ckeditor will not work because in ckeditor.js this is already standard on CKEDITOR.lang.languages={"nl":1};}()); set
However, if I reset the test site to a Kunena version 6.1.2
so ckeditor.js is already defaulted to ;CKEDITOR.lang.languages={"en":1};}()); set
And then it is also true on kunena.org forum I can't choose or influence that either?

I created a new test site with Joomla 4.3.3 and Kunena 6.1.3 and installed and activated the Dutch language in Joomla.
For Kunena I have not found a Dutch language file.
From the CKEditor 4.19.0 I copied the nl.js from 20.05.2021 to /media/kunena/core/js/lang/ and as described before in the customckeditor_config.js I changed the entry config.defaultLanguage = 'de'; to 'nl';.
The ckeditor_config.js has remained unchanged.
Now the CKEditor speaks Dutch to me and I could write in it.
Everything else concerning Kunena is still german.

ok, then leave it on "en".
In all previous Joomla versions there is "en" in it.
Maybe someone tested for 6.1.3 with the Dutch language and changed there the "en" to "nl" and forgot to undo it.
For me it also works with "nl" in the ckeditor.js, but does the CKEditor speak with you now also in Dutch after the change in the ckeditor.js?

Hello Gindi,
You did give me an idea in a test site
I have now named the original in kunena "oud_ckeditor.js".
and replaced from the downloaded version you suggested
CKEditor 4.19.0 "ckeditor.js"
And the special thing is that it works and also in Dutch
