When I tried to look at your website, this is the message I received:
Naturally, I did not venture forth.
The last time I was involved in a discussion like this , the problem was resolved simply, quickly and effectively by reinstalling Kunena 3.0 using the "Install by URL" method described in the K 3.0 Upgrade Guide . Perhaps you should try this, too.
Just as a matter of interest, running a Joomla site with SSL enabled presents other kinds of problems that you need to pay special attention to.

Hi sozzled
I did as you suggested.
1) Unistalled all the old Kunena stuff
2) went to the down load page and did the right click copy URL, install from URL thing
3) Published a Kunena menu (you neeed to be registered to see it)
And nothing changed. Please see screen shot
Any bright ideas?
The following link will take you to the Site with out any security warnings
www.finalbug.net/
If you want to see the forum you clould use a Facebook account to login
ps you said
Kunena 3.0
I only found 3.0.1 so I am assuming that this was a typo on your part and reinstalled 3.0.1
I did not see a link for 3.0.0 any where!

Again, maybe I was being too subtle. When I write K 3.0 I am usually referring the the last in the series K 3.0.x. No, it was not a typo on my part. As you see, when I write on this forum I continually revise and correct as many errors as I can - the problems of writing in the pre-dawn of the day on an iPad that loves to "correct" my spelling in weird and fascinating ways; my posts are full of edit revisions.
For our security we do not register ourselves on a user's site. If you want us to see your site it's your responsibility to make the necessary accommodations. In other words, if you have a test account we can use, then you should provide us with the details. How do you do that, you may ask? It is a frequently asked question. The answer is on our FAQs page.
I am totally stumped with this problem you're having. I am left to conclude that your Joomla site is configured in a way that prevents the language files from properly installing. Something is coming between the Kunena installation process and the accessibility of the language files needed by Kunena to translate these symbolic names and Joomla on your website (and I don't know what it is). I have lost track of the number of times I have installed Kunena - it's several hundred times and I'm not exaggerating - and I never encounter these kinds of problems. Why do these issues occur in the one-in-a-thousand?
As you see , K 3.0 (meaning K 3.0.0 and K 3.0.1) has been downloaded (and I assume people have installed it) tens of thousands of times over the past 5 months and a small handful of people have encountered this problem concerning the language file not being accessible to translate the symbolic names used on the forum buttons. And why is that, I wonder?
I will ask around for you. It may take several days to get an answer. This problem you are having should not occur. I do not think it is a Kunena defect but I cannot eliminate it from my mind as a possibility, either.
Any other bright ideas? Well, there's always the possibility, I suppose, that someone might offer to pay me for the hours I would have to pour into going over your site with a microscope to see what is the cause of this mystery. There are many avenues of investigation to explore. Starting afresh, with a brand new site, with Kunena installed first and to test it out ... that's also another possibility. If you were prepared to uninstall Kunena (and I never suggested that you to do that!) then you could quite as easily start again from scratch, couldn't you?
Check the basics:

Check the basics:
- Do the website folders all have the correct ownership and permissions and, likewise, the files within the folders?
- Does all the rest of your Joomla site work well before you installed Kunena;
- Did you rigorously tested Joomla with Kunena (no other Joomla extensions installed or other things that could impact) and that you followed all the standard procedures, etc.; and
- Did you read the whole of this topic and apply any of the various suggestions contributed here to your own circumstances.
- Could it be possible that running SSL on a site that does not issue site certificates be a complicating factor?
- Maybe it has something to do with the platform on which you are running this? Have you tried running your site on a different platform?

Hello sozzled
If I had money to throw at this problem I would believe me. But I do not so I can´t. I originally wanted to install the forum as a private forum for administrators to work through stuff. Almost like a ticket system. But with a view to at some point making it more public etc. In other words a test balloon.
If you were to send an email to paul(at)paurray.de I could certainly give you access to the Site. Frankly I am a video editor with no formal Web Development training but somehow through some twists of fate I got involved in this project that is now way over my head.
I appreciate your list of things that I should check and I will try to go through the the list step by step to the best of my ability but it will take time.
In the mean time
"I will ask around for you. It may take several days to get an answer."
Yep if you could do that it would be great.
thanks
Paul

Check with your web host that the permissions and ownership are correct for all your Joomla folders.
