Hi! The JoomLatex is really outdated, but a user here could use it in previous version of Kunena, enabling Joomla Content Plugins Supporter when this function was located in the Kunena Frontend configuration . It would be really nice if both (JoomLatex e Kunena) could work together because JomLatex is one of the few formatters of LaTeX for Joomla, and it works well on Joomla 2.5, in addition to Latex format is essential for mathematicians forums.

Yes it would be "really nice" but, let's agree on one thing; K 2.0 is a totally, systematically, structurally and logically, different product to earlier versions of Kunena. That is why there is a big, prominent warning in the K 2.0 release notes that states:
There are no ifs, buts or maybes.

If JoomLatex is more important to you than a supported, progressive discussion forum then you always have the option to restore your website to the state it was in before you upgraded to K 2.0.

I am sympathetic to the needs of people who want to use LaTex in Kunena. In fact, I remember us having a discussion about some of these things nearly 3 years ago, here, in code without replacement by smilies or something else . Perhaps someone else has a contribution to make about a third-party product that may be useful for people who need to use LaTex?

No, I won't do it. I've never used a previous version of Kunena. I just knew the Component since yesterday, and I thought it excellent, and because of that I'm going to donate to the Kunena Organization. I think disabling previous and nice functions did not make the component totally better, but prune it. In my opinion, keep more relevant functions and add more is the right way.

The JoomLatex is so important to me as Kunena, because I'm creating a mathematician forum, and, I don't know if you know what means the LaTex codification, but it is totally essencial between equations and computing.

Thanks for answer, and I'll wait and work for a solution for all the users that are having the same problem. If there's no compatibility, of course we can create one.

Hugs! ;)
