In where (local?)... after you run conversion tool?

I think developer team members (some of them) can do conversion files for you when you give to their latest translation file of 1.5.xx series... it do only conversion from old 1.5.xx series to 1.6 admin and site files which are located at the moment on situations what I tell previously

We all have to remember... K 1.6 not follow general practice to place the language files in the normal Joomla! locations(which we are accustomed)... still

I upgraded to 1.6 but I guess Dutch languagefiles are not yet translated (missing some strings).

Could someone convert the latest 1.5 languagefile for me?

Link to old translation: nl-NL

Where do I submit the new translation so others can use them?

Maybe, you can do a list of unstranslated strings and put the translation, someone will add the things into kunena.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Sure, send them over and i'll translate them!

Some of the excisting old translations don't make sense or the word order is wrong, where can u suggest changes?

edit: hmmm, think I misunderstood your post....I already translated a large part of my files, so I can't see which are not translated anymore. (added missing strings by comparing with english files).

edit2: I'll compare english and dutch files, add missing strings and make changes where neccesary
