Kunena 7.0.9 & Kunena 6.4.14 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.9 [K 7.0.9] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

ok, first answer is see attachd image: in extension manger kunena is displayed but not on dashboard >components!!!

I miss System - Kunena Forum can it be found at joomla4 plugin manager ?
and is the database okay does Maintenance: Database give no error message?

(By the way everything else works except Kunena)
If the #__mail_templates table is not present, no mails will be sent.
Install Joomla again via Joomla Update. Maybe you are lucky and this table will be created.
Important! Always create a backup before you make any changes to your website!

Hi Rich, now all missing data tables (including mail_templates) have been inserted but still cant install kunena. I am going mad. Even deinstalling did not work: see img

in Extensions: Manage
click green V to turn extension off
and select the extensions again with square and click on
uninstall then you should be able to get those 2 away

Hi

If you have still this issue, the problem is 3 entries in the table jos_mail_template  (assuming you have the default jos_ prefix)
After a complete uninstall you can, as a workaround, open your database with phpmyadmin and enter the sql statement

delete FROM jos_mail_templates where template_id like 'com_kunena%'

Afterwards you can install Kunena again.
