youll have to use EASYPROFILE
www.easy-profile.com/
go here stackideas.com/forums/easyprofile-integration and scroll to the second to last reply from the developer of easyprofile... he explains how to get the avatar from EASYBLOG
EasyProfile has integration with Kunena already and should allow the 3 to talk to each other.
hope this helps!

this one is done for easyprofile, only you need to edit it to easyblog, you could also ask the author of easyblog, if they can create a plugin for kunena.

this is their answer: it is not their priority, at the moment.
As explained, EasyBlog is becoming the number 1 in joomla blogging system so It would be great to get this in native in Kunena.
Get the possibility to choose easyblog avatar because , in my club, a lot of Joomla users using Easyblog do not want to install Kunena as Forum because they can't display Avatar from Easyblog and prefer to stick with easydiscuss which is more a ticketing component instead of a nice forum such as Kunena.
I'm sorry i'm not a developper and do not know how to use this documentation.
What do you think?

not a huge fan of easyblog myself but I am willing to give a shot at the avatar integration plugin (because I like Kunena so much ).
I created the easyprofile plugin, so should be able to also do easyblog avatar integration.
What I need is the api documentation for easyblog (avatar reading part) and a tester.
@Julien, can you assist?

Regarding API I have asked to Stackideas directly to provide me the info but could you have a look in their doc maybe you could find something:
stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/welcome
It is a pity that you do not like Easyblog, I personnally love it.
The number of functionnalities you can get from Easyblog are tremendous!
I'm an active users of all Stackideas components since 2012, I have helped a lots of french companies choosing and sugggesting this solution because of reactivity, functionalities and performance you can get from those components....
May I know what you dislike from Easyblog?
Can't wait we start woorking on this project!
thx so much!

okay setup an empty plugin (the easy part ).
Because Easyblog does not have a documented API, I have to 'reverse' engineer things.
I can only do that on a joomla development site that has Easyblog installed.
I have an old 'abandoned' Easyblog Joomla site that I can use for this purpose, only thing is that this is a 3.9.x version of Easyblog.
So question is: has the API changed functionally between those versions? If I develop with 3.9.x Easyblog functions and methods, will it also work in newer versions?
