Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

G'day, TheZoker, and welcome to Kunena.

The save button is driven by Javascript. If there is a Javascript conflict (caused by something you've loaded on your site) with Joomla Mootools (which is needed by Kunena) then certain things (like pressing the save button) may not work. The general advice relating to these problems is contained in msg #1 of this topic. I hope it helps.

Ok but I`m currently not understanding, how I can find the problem...

Now I know it COULD be something with the mootools, right?

But how I should go on?

The problem is caused by a conflict between one Javascript library that you're using and the Mootools Javascript library - which is needed by Joomla (and by Kunena) - yes.

Read the information given in msg #1 of this topic which provides advice on what you can do. I hope that helps.
