Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

We have addressed this question many times. The problem in 99% of cases relates to something stopping the Kunena Javascript library working properly. The reason this happens is because you have another Javascript library loaded on your website that has clobbered Kunena. The solution is to remove the other library, whatever it may be.

I have found that if you try to get rid of the user loginbox by commenting it out $this->displayLoginBox (); in display.php

It will also produce this error as the scripts stop running due to a null error.

FIX!! -- edit out the comment and deal with the login box.

I have a big problem, use joomla 2.5 version, and installed the 2.0.2 version of Kunena. Except that I can not change my profile and barrinha not appear to BBcode.

many people came with the same problem. read quite a few topics, most of them were related to the Mootols, I just looked in my joomla and has no program by that name

please help me out

G'day, jaackbs, and welcome to Kunena.


I think that merging your topic with one that addresses the similar problems you are having will probably be the best help we can give you. You may not realise it but, without Mootools, your Joomla website cannot work at all.
