Kunena 6.2.5 & module Kunena Latest 6.0.7 released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.2.5 [K 6.2.5] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.3.x/4.4.x/5.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1 / K 6.2 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.2

If you are having problems then, for your own benefit, it would save us all a lot of time if you would kindly post your configuration report when you ask for help from this forum. If you do not post your configuration report we will not ask you for it but you will probably not get your problem solved, either.

K 2.0 support will cease on 31 August 2013 and this section of the forum will be closed and archived after that time and no further questions will be answered about this version.

Mathyas: Thanks for letting us know and sorry it took me so long to figure out the whole answer. There have been several very important improvements in the K 2.0.1 configuration report. All the answers were staring me in my face by looking at the integration settings in your report. It will be a lot easier now to answer this question in future. :cheer:

BadCluster: In your case, you have to make changes in two places (your configuration report actually shows you the two things you need to do).
  • Kunena Plugins » Kunena - Joomla Integration » Plug-in: [Edit] » Parameters » Plug-in Parameters » Enable Joomla Login = No
  • Kunena Plugins » Kunena - JomSocial Integration » Plug-in: [Edit] » Parameters » Plug-in Parameters » Enable JomSocial Login = No

Summary:

For people using K 2.0, and depending on what other Joomla extensions they may have installed (e.g. Community Builder or JomSocial), there are three places where people may need to look if they want to disable the login form at the top of the Kunena forum pages. These are Kunena Plugins:
  1. Kunena - Joomla Integration » Parameters » Plug-in Parameters » Enable Joomla Login = Yes | No
  2. Kunena - CommunityBuilder Integration » Parameters » Plug-in Parameters » Enable CommunityBuilder Login = Yes | No
  3. Kunena Plugins » Kunena - JomSocial Integration » Parameters » Plug-in Parameters » Enable JomSocial Login = Yes | No

Many many thanks, the log in window is finally closed for good!

(Could you please mark my thread "Omitting Login Option" as resolved since the topic has been locked and I cannot do that.)

Regards!

Hi,

Since my forum is integrated with JomSocial for login purposes, I don't want the grey bar at the top of Kunena that includes the means to login. I searched Settings but couldn't find an option to turn it off. How do I do this?

Thanks,
Dom
