I have uploaded new emoticons, but they do not show up in my drop-down list in the back-end. Can anyone help me with this issue? Greatly appreciated!

"URL: On this dropdown list we will be able to select one of the images inside the 'root/components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images/language/emoticons/' folder (will differ when using different templates). We cannot select this folder, Kunena decides which smileys to show based on the language we decided on logging in joomla. Notice this does not affect in anyway the associations, but if there's a smiley that is only available on a language image folder, the rest of the language will share the association but with an empty smiley, this will affect on posts, as it will not shown the text string (ej.: :yuck:) nor any image. For this we recommend if you use localized smileys in a Multilanguage forum, to have a version of each smiley in each of the language folders."

This is my folder, where i have to put the smileys into:
components/com_kunena/template/default_ex/images/german/emoticons
using template default_ex, the language of my Joomla used is german.
And this folder is shown in backend for smileys. If this is empty, no pic is shown in dropdown-list.
And i have to correct: images/german/emoticons <- must have file permission 755
