The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
I have a similar problem as described here; the (default) emoticons will not show in frontend or backend, I've verified that the file locations are correct - and I'm running both Joomla and Kunena in English. Permissions are 777 in all directories.
There are also one or two other icons missing or not showing.
Ok. My fault, but I did really check *most of* the settings. But when I checked the properties of the missing smilies at "Smilies management" - it said that my native language is "norwegian"...
So I copied the "english" folder and renamed the copy to "norwegian". And voila...
