Question redirect after login

I do not have community builder installed on my site. Will this work without it? ie: If I just use the CB login module?

I don't think you can use the CB login module without having CB installed as well because it is designed for use with Community Builder.

Of course - it's only for user who installed Community Builder. Have you tried it with the J standard-login-module?

As I said in my first post, I have the same problem as jakob. The joomla login mod works perfectly, redirecting the user to the forums after login and and to the home page after they logout. The problem comes in when a user is already browsing the forums and then wants to comment. When the Login using the link in the forum, they are redirected to the home page of the site and then have to navigate from there back to the forum/topic they wanted to comment on.

The other soloution would be to remove the login / logout links in the forums and let the Joomla login mod handle those functions. Unfortunately I dont have the skills to do that myself. Ill keep checking here, hopefully someone will come up with a soloution soon.

I think it works with my hack also.

Try it - you can also use the normal Joomla Login-module instead of cb-login-module
