Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you are ready to commit some time to our project -- reporting/fixing small bugs -- you are welcome to join our test team. Just PM me and you get access to our (almost) daily builds.

I would but life is very busy at times, so ill just wait for the public available builds. Plus I would still consider myself a little under skilled when it comes to scripting.

Good to know we will see something soon...

It would be good if you could make "templates" for new posts in certain categories. What i mean by this is if someone in a kunena category called "K1.6 Bugs" clicked "Start New Thread" then the typical new post screen comes up but there is already predefined text in the message text area.

So this could have:

Joomla Version:
Kunena template used:
Joomla template used:

etc etc so that way it makes it very straightforward for people to know what information they need to fill out and would make a consistent way of submitting information.

This could be used for all sorts of uses not just bug submission and i know other forum software systems do have this feature.

still wish that i can write my forum signature through a jomsocial plugin and do it from my jomsocial profile
