Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Hi Katia,

One other thing I forgot about until just now - I also got my ISP to upgrade my server from PHP4.x.x to PHP5.1.6. I don't know if this had anything to do with my solution, but it is possible!

Hello Phil,

Don't know anything about servers and PHP but mine told me mine is supported by PHP5 already. So I guess it has nothing to do with my solution :lol:

Hi, I seem to have the same installed components/mod/plugins etc as described earlier. Kunena installed fine, user CB profiles seems to be ok also, fireboard tables have been transfered into Kunena fine.
Only thing i dont seem to get to work is for the forum to show within groupjive. Which files of Kunena do i need to edit to make it work?

I really appreciate your help!!!!

Got it figured out and seems to work fine for now

Just in case somebody else is looking for the same thing. Here is what i did. NO guarantee it will work for you too :-)

1. back up files and DB
2. uninstall fireboard
3. install newest Kunena version
4. disable old GJ Fireboard plug in in CB -> plugins
5. install GJforum - the extended forum plugin available here www.groupjive.org/index.php?option=com_d...iew&gid=24&Itemid=59
6. enable plugin and enter correct category for kunena forum.

Hope this helps somebody some time!
