Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Since upgrading to 1.6 I have the following problem:

I configured the plugin to "Show on Blog Pages" = Link
But every time I start a discussion there is not only the link showing up under the article, but there is the full view of the forum discussion.

Any idea what I can do about this as I really only want to have the link with the number of posts in the forum showing up.


By the way, all the discussions that were started with the former version are correct, that means there is only the link shown.

Feature request:
- First Post Owner pairing to the article section/category (or forum category)

Currently, we can specify only one First Post Owner. It would be useful to allow different First Post Owners based on the content as many forum categories would have different content experts or moderators.

This happens where there are no comments yet.

It works in my environment. Can you give me your configuration? Which pages do this? blog/myblog/single article/frontpage?

smilies doesn't work on pages, where are 2 or more quick posts. This can't be easily patched, it's in Kunena.
