Question 1.5.12 -> 1.6.1 upgrade - post function only shows blank page

K 1.6.1 is not supported. Please see K 1.6 Upgrade Guide

The last attempt, I used the newer 1.6.3 version, hoping that it would help. Unfortunately, the 1.5.12 -> 1.6.3 upgrade left the forum in the same state. I can read the forums all I want. Its just when I try to post something that it hangs (white page).

I'll try it again with 1.6.4 and report.

I know what the problem is! :woohoo: The user is using some outdated, "Kunena Latest" module that was never written by, supported, endorsed or maintained by the Kunena project. Please read K 1.6 Technical Requirements and K 1.6.4 release notes . User also needs to update Kunena Discuss plugin.

Modules written for K 1.5 are not compatible with K 1.6 and many of them will give a white page.

My diagnosis is, of course, based entirely on the subject of this topic, K 1.6 configuration report posted nearly three months and an assumption that the user has had a blank page on his website for the past three months. If I am wrong, perhaps we can see an updated K 1.6 configuration report.
