Kunena 7.0.2 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.2 [K 7.0.2] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.3.x/5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Hi, I have just installed and its taking around 7 to 10 seconds to load the forum page, any help greatly appreciated as I have about 4,000 posts to import and dont want to import while performance is so poor.

Im running on Centos dedicated server with 16gb of ram and 8 Quad Core processors (my own dedicated
server not busy)

You have plenty of javascript loaded, yoo_toppanel load Mootools 1.11 then Mootools 1.2.4 is loaded...

G'day, Rob. Your slow forum issues are caused by a Javascript library conflict. Please read Mootools 1.2.4 - this explains the situation.

The solution to your problem requires good planning and good site preparation before you install Kunena. We understand that many people arrive at the point where you are now at because they have "tacked on" Kunena after they have built their website and have everything else working and then, when they add Kunena, they realise that they really didn't have their site well prepared to begin with. I mentioned this is Which came first? The template or the forum?

We advise people to check the documentation first. See K 1.6 Installation Guide .

You can fix these problems yourself (with the guides we've provided to the community) or, if you want it done faster, you can obtain professional help.

thanks, switched to milkyway template to test and sure enough it is loading in 2 seconds.

Need to look at what I actually need from that template and strip it down.
