Still doesn't seem to work... I have the mootools upgrade plugin enabled also I have it as load as the 1st position, next I have installed the jQuery++ Integrator by tushev.org plugin because it has a feature to enable jquery in "no-conflict" mode. I can also PM my kunena config settings if someone wants...any other suggestions?

Replied by steffee72 on topic Re: Profile Information
I followed the link and read all the info and looked on the forum. I understand that it is likely a javascript issue and there is likely something conflicting with Kunena, however I am not sure what it is or how to fix it. All the program versions are up to date and mootools is activated. I am using the Kunena template for the forum and just basic template from my site. I am not a web designer by trade so some of the info in the forum seems a bit foreign to me. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Stephanie

Thanks, Stephanie. The best suggestion that I can make at this time is for me to merge your topic with the "bigger one" and hope that, by perusing the various hints, tips, clues and advices we have given in the past, that there is some information here that will help you.

Basically, these kinds of problems are not caused by Kunena. These kinds of problems occur because Kunena was added onto a website that already had problems to begin with (or problems lying-in-waiting, ready to demolish other extensions - like Kunena - installed afterwards).

You don't have Joomla SEO enabled properly. Please read carefully: Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) guide in the Wiki.

I have all the SEO settings the wiki recommends. I have SEF urls on...I have apache_mod rewrite on and I have Add suffix to URLs set to No.

I also tried the page with a very basic .htaccess to make sure there wasn't a rule blocking the edit profile commands.

Here are the .js files running on the edit profile page am I missing something?

<script type="text/javascript" src="//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/plugins/system/jqueryintegrator/jquery.noconflict.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/plugins/system/jqueryintegrator/jquery-ui-1.8.6.custom.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/plugins/system/jqueryintegrator/jquery.tools.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/includes/js/joomla.javascript.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/plugins/system/mtupgrade/mootools.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src=" fellowshipchurch.info/fc/components/com_...ed/js/mediaboxAdv.js ">
<script type="text/javascript" src=" fellowshipchurch.info/fc/components/com_...lt/js/default-min.js ">
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/modules/mod_jtshadowbox/shadowbox/shadowbox.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/templates/fellowship/js/jquery-1.4.2.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/templates/fellowship/js/other.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="/fc/templates/fellowship/js/fellowship.js"></script>

I am not sure what to try next.
