Read what I wrote in msg #111 . Read the article Mootools 1.2.4 . These explain why you have the problem and the general approach to solving it.

You might also find the topic Which came first? The template or the forum? useful, as background reading.

Msgs #126 , #156 , #142 and #749 - a few chosen at random - might also help you, too.

I have installed Kunena 1.6.2 on a Joomla 1.5.22 site and having several issues.

BBCodes aren't working, File Attachment doesn't work, using the BlueEagle template (with some customisations) the fields were all blending with the background colour (background-color: inherit?) which I have commented out.

Would truly appreciate some support if possible. Following are the config settings.

Thanks,
Geoff

BBCodes aren't working ...

Please see K 1.6 Technical Requirements .

Very likely that your problems are caused because of a known Rockettheme issue (discussed earlier in this topic).

I solve my problem this manner.

Rename /media/system/js/mootools.js to mootools.js.backup
Copy /plugins/system/mtupgrade/mootools.js to /media/system/js

This way, only mootools 1.2.4 are loaded, instead and old template, module or anything are traying to load old one.

Cheeers!

Thanks!

I think, I found problem/conflict.

I have a lot of GAVICK modules which work with mootools 1.12.

Is there a way to work around this problem? To use the GAVICK modules and kunena forum.
