@haris66: the guys are right; you don't have any messages to search for. Your website is different to when I last visited it - you had messages then which which you've now deleted.

You're still using a heavily customised Kunena template. The one you're using complements the red theme. Please use default_ex template while you're working through the problems you've currently got. You've also removed the "powered by" footer at the bottom of the forum page. You seem to have a lot of customised things with this website.

I cannot find where you've stated what version of Joomla you are using, either. The version of Joomla you are using may also be an important factor!

My suggestion is to uninstall your current version of Kunena. Install Kunena 1.0.10; use the default_ex template; make the necessary changes to the search function (that I referred to in my earlier post); create a couple of test messages so that you can be sure the search function works; report your situation after that.

Um. Mattias is correct. You have no posts in any topic in any category that is "public". You cannot search for something that is not there.

ok I have created a post. Search for Test and you will see the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_substr() in C:\dbjoomla\components\com_kunena\class.kunena.php on line 1282

I did tell that I am using 1.0.10 in 18317 . I am using default_ex with the only difference that I have replaced only 2 images. If you want I can find their names.

I'm sorry. What you wrote (in #18317 ) was that you had updated to Kunena 1.0.10 and that you had "the same issue" - I assumed then that the "same issue" was at "line 264" as when you initially reported your problems ( #17808 ) when you were using Kunena 1.0.9. Now you're saying that, after the upgrade to K 1.0.10, you're experiencing the "line 1282" problem. I also assumed, because we've mentioned the "line 1282" many times in this topic, that you had adopted our recommendations. You could have saved yourself a lot of trouble. B)

We wrote, earlier in this discussion, that the "line 1282" problem is different ( #17792 ) and that there is a solution for it. Please try the recommendation and then report if this has solved your problem. :)

I have replaced it but now the same error is on line 1289: Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_substr() in C:\dbjoomla\components\com_kunena\class.kunena.php on line 1289.

The file fixes the issue in line 1292 but my previous error was on line 1282.

I am sorry I have been such a hassle for you guys. I know that the issue is going to be a very minor one.
